Solid Ground

I don't have a camera this trip. The photo is one I took of an earthquake memorial in Gyumri, Armenia in 2007. Just a reminder that none of us are on solid ground.

Current Location: Yerevan, Armenia.
Arrived: 1 a.m. this morning.
Jetlag factor: 12.
First training session: Noon at Radio Hay
The buzzwords I'll use: "Interactive" and "Respect."
Greatest Fear: The buzzwords will mean "Self-abuse" and "Wussy" in Armenian.
Thought for the day: He who uses buzzwords deserves to be stung by buzzwords.

The sun is shining. It is a cool, spring-like day. I could sleep.

Sending a message

When the politics in my fiction used to get too blatent, my old writing coach would say, "If you want to send a message, call Western Union."

Western Union stopped delivering telegrams in 2006. I couldn't figure out how to get the message to him.
